BBFC rating
The BBFC rate films and trailers accordingly to how they
think it should be. They take into account aspects like if there is swearing in
a film or violence and they must consider if they think this is suitable for a
specific crowd. Film makers for example that have a 15 age rated film will cut
out what makes it that rating for the trailer so it can get a lower rating and
reach a wider audience. After looking at
the BBFC and seeing how they rate the film and film trailers; I think my film
would over all be rated as a 15 as I think it would involve swearing in it,
however for my trailer I will cut out any swearing to it can be seen in movies
where the film is a 12 in order for it to reach a wider audience.

Which films that are currently in the cinema would you attach your trailer to? How will the need to create a 12 trailer impact on your poster campaign? Where are you intending to place them and will you be able to do so without the content offending anybody?
